No matter where you are in your life or faith journey, it is good to know that during hard times and all seasons of life, we all have direct access to God's love, teachings, provision, and promises.

In Romans 3:23, the Bible says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  We all sin and sin separates us from God [1]. To overcome that separation, God gave up His only son to die for us on a cross as a punishment for all of our sins [2].

It is not by good works that we earn a life-changing relationship with God. It is only through our openness, willingness, and obedience to saying "yes" to His invitation to dwell in us, transform us, and work through us that we can live again. Anyone, anywhere, regardless of their background, past, current situation, struggles, success or achievements can access God's forgiveness and grace, blessings, promises, and eternal salvation by allowing His Holy Spirit to live in us. It is through the Holy Spirit that we can gain strength and discernment to live an authentic, truthful, fruitful life. A life that honors and takes part of God's great and perfect plan for His Kingdom on earth.

Through this prayer, you can invite Jesus into your heart to become your personal Lord and Savior [3].

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

1. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

2. I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:6

3. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As scripture says, Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Romans 10:9-11
